Springboard Engineering recently added a state of the art, climate controlled, Kysor Panel Systems refrigeration test chamber to its stable of test equipment.  The walk-in, 12’ x 16’ x 8’ unit can accommodate concurrent testing of up to 4 freestanding, 36-inch wide refrigerators among other products. 

Electronic sensors allow precise ambient temperature control within the chamber to within +/- 1 degree Fahrenheit of the desired set point.  Set points can be programmed to accommodate all ambient temperatures required for refrigerator testing.

The controlled testing environment is continually monitored with every-minute temperature and humidity readings.  This trending data is available live and with unlimited historical capability. The chiller and controls are Legacy Chiller Systems.

Springboard Engineering in the 4th of July Parade

Springboard Engineering was fortunate again this year to win first place in the 2010 Newton 4th of July parade, float competition. The theme for the parade was "honor the past, celebrate the future", so in the vein of exploration, Springboard came up with a float honoring the past sailing explorers as well as future space explorers yet to travel to distant planets - all in one float. A twirling tethered astronaut, billowing sails, smoking cannons and music all enhanced the float. Springboard would like to thank the Newton chamber of commerce for hosting such a great event.
