Plastic Injection "Quick" molds

Springboard Engineering has developed mold design and machining methods to quickly bring your prototype design to market.  Springboard Engineering specializes in aluminum molds used for production or to "bridge" a gap in production. Depending on the mold design and complexity, Springboard Engineering commonly designs, builds, and runs the "quick" molds in weeks not months.

Springboard aluminum mold expertise allows for multiple slide actions and gas assist to be included in design as needed.

Do not let the "limited production" and "bridge" nomenclature fool you.  Springboard Engineering molds have withstood 600,000 shots in certain applications.

Springboard Engineering has injection molding equipment on site.

Nylon and PVC Materials

Springboard Engineering has developed skill with many different types of molded materials including the often troublesome nylon and PVC materials.

Quality Assurance

Our commitment to quality does not stop at the fabrication stage. Springboard utilizes several methods for part inspection. We have CMM and AccuView visual measuring equipment to ensure you receive quality parts made to print specifications.

Springboard can also manage the QC layout or first part inspection for your company. We have the tools and techniques to properly inspect your parts for conformance to design specifications.
